ACT CIVIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL ACT 2008 (NO. 35 OF 2008) - SECT 98

    (1)     The appointment of a person as a presidential member is for the term—

        (a)     stated in the appointment, which must be no less than 7 years; or

        (b)     if no term is stated in the appointment—7 years.

    (2)     The appointment of a person as a non-presidential member is for the term stated in the appointment or, if no term is stated, for 5 years.

Note     A person may be reappointed to a position if the person is eligible to be appointed to the position (see Legislation Act, s 208 and dict, pt 1, def  appoint ).
