BAIL AMENDMENT ACT 2004 (NO. 14 OF 2004) - SECT 7

Section 14 (2) 

substitute

    (2)     An authorised officer must not grant bail to a person accused of an offence if—

        (a)     a decision about bail in relation to the offence has been made by a court; or

        (b)     the offence is a domestic violence offence of murder.

Note     A reference to an offence against a Territory law includes a reference to a related ancillary offence, eg attempt (see Legislation Act, s 189).
