Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts64. (1) Where an act or omission of a person that is an offence against this Act is also an offence against the repealed Act, the person may be prosecuted in respect of either offence, but is not liable to a greater penalty than that provided for the offence under the repealed Act.
(2) Nothing in this section shall render a person liable to be convicted twice in respect of the same act or omission.
