(1) The chief executive must keep a written record of—
(a) each report made to him or her under section 158 or 159; and
(b) a child protection appraisal made as a result of a report.
(2) If the chief executive has parental responsibility for a child or young person about whom a report under section 158 or 159 is made at the time of reporting, the chief executive must provide a copy of any record mentioned in paragraph (1) (a) about the report to the community advocate as soon as practicable.
