DISCRIMINATION ACT 1991 (NO. 81 OF 1991) - SECT 84

Appearance and representation at public hearings

84. (1) At a public hearing, each party to the relevant investigation is entitled to appear personally, or where the party is a body of persons (whether incorporated or unincorporated), by an officer, employee or agent of the party.

(2) Except with the consent of the Commissioner—

        (a)     a natural person is not entitled to be represented at a public hearing by another person; and

(b)     a body of persons (whether incorporated or unincorporated) is not entitled to be represented at a public hearing by a person other than a member, officer or employee of the body.
