DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES ACT 2004 (NO. 7 OF 2004) - SECT 80

Unauthorised carrying of certain dangerous substances

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the regulations require a dangerous substance to be carried in a particular way; and

        (b)     the person carries the substance; and

        (c)     the person fails to carry the substance in accordance with the regulations.

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
