Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts11. (1) A dealer or other person shall not, for the purpose of, or in the course of, negotiating a contract to which this Act applies, harass or coerce a consumer.
Penalty: $5,000.
(2) A dealer or other person shall not harass or coerce a consumer for the purpose of dissuading or preventing the consumer from exercising a right conferred on the consumer by this Act.
Penalty: $5,000.
