Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) If an emergency order is made in relation to a respondent who is the holder of a firearms licence, the firearms licence is, by force of this section, suspended until the order ends or is revoked.

(2) The judicial officer who makes the emergency order may also order—
(a) the seizure of the firearms licence for the period that the order is in force; and
(b) the seizure and detention for that period of any firearm and any ammunition for a firearm in the respondent's possession.
