ELECTORAL (AMENDMENT) ACT 1998 (NO. 61 OF 1998) - SECT 2

    This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette .

3.     Principal Act

    In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Electoral Act 1992 . ¹

4.     Timing of redistributions

    Section 37 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) “February” and substituting “October”.
