Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) A greenhouse gas benchmark for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions applies, in accordance with this Act, to each benchmark participant.
Note A reference to an Act includes a reference to the statutory instruments made or in force under the Act, including regulations (see Legislation Act, s 104).
(2) The greenhouse gas benchmark for a benchmark participant is to be worked out in accordance with this Act.
Note Failure to comply with a greenhouse gas benchmark will result in a greenhouse penalty being payable (see pt 3).
