Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts23. (1) Any person who may be affected by the approval of an application may, within the prescribed period, object to the grant of the approval.
(2) An objection shall be made to the Minister in writing and shall set out the grounds of the objection.
(3) The Minister shall give a copy of each objection to—
(a) the applicant;
(b) the Heritage Council; and
(c) any relevant Aboriginal organisation.
(4) The Minister shall make a copy of each objection available for public inspection during office hours until the expiration of the period during which the applicant may apply to the Tribunal for a review of a decision in relation to the application.
(5) The Minister may, on request by a person making an objection, exclude information which would identify the objector from being made available under subsection (3) or (4) if, in the Minister's opinion based on reasonable grounds, it would not be in the public interest for that information to be published.
