INEBRIATES (AMENDMENT) ACT 1991 (NO. 14 OF 1991) - SECT 4

4. Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended—

    (a)     by omitting “, or his father, brother, son, partner or assistant—” and substituting “, his or her partner, assistant or near relative—”; and

    (b)     by adding at the end the following subsection:

“(2) In subsection (1)—

‘near relative', in relation to a person, means a spouse, parent, child, brother or sister of the person.”.
