Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) A hearing under this part is to be open to the public, unless the disciplinary tribunal directs that the hearing or a part of the hearing is closed to the public.
(2) The disciplinary tribunal must not direct that a hearing or a part of a hearing is closed to the public unless satisfied that it is desirable to make the direction in the public interest for reasons connected with—
(a) the subject matter of the hearing; or
(b) the nature of the evidence to be given.
(3) The disciplinary tribunal may adjourn a proceeding for any reason the tribunal considers appropriate.
