MOTOR ACCIDENT INJURIES AMENDMENT ACT 2023 (NO. 30 OF 2023) - SECT 2

    (1)     This Act (other than section 12) commences on the 7th day after its notification day.

Note     The naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act

, s 75 (1)).

    (2)     Section 12 commences on the later of—

        (a)     the 7th day after this Act's notification day; and

        (b)     the commencement of the Road Safety Legislation Amendment Act 2023 , section 17.
