MOTOR TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ACT 1993 (NO. 47 OF 1993) - SECT 5

5. Section 27 of the Principal Act is amended—

    (a)     by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection:

“(1A) The Minister shall not determine a fee under paragraph (1) (a) in respect of a licence for which he or she has determined a reserved price under subsection 27A (2) unless the licence has been passed in at auction because bidding in respect of it did not reach that price.”; and

    (b)     by renumbering subsection (1A) (second occurring) as subsection (1B).
