MOTOR TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ACT 1993 (NO. 47 OF 1993) - SECT 8

8. Section 149 of the Principal Act is amended—

    (a)     by omitting from subsection (1) the definition of “penalty”;

    (b)     by inserting in subsection (1) the following definition:

“ ‘prescribed penalty', in relation to a parking infringement, means the penalty prescribed by the regulations for that infringement;”; and

    (c)     by omitting subsections (1A) and (1B).
