Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts10. (1) The Chief Health Officer shall prepare a written report every 2 years about public health indicators in the Territory in respect of the following matters:
(a) trends and indicators in health status;
(b) potential public health risks;
(c) morbidity and mortality;
(d) notifiable conditions;
(e) health promotion activities;
(f) harm minimisation activities;
(g) access and equity indicators relevant to health;
(h) social indicators relevant to health;
(i) health services performance against minimum standards of care;
(j) intersectoral activities relevant to health;
(k) any other matter considered appropriate by the Chief Health Officer.
(2) The first report shall be prepared in relation to the 2 year period expiring on 30 June 1998, and each subsequent report shall be prepared in relation to each succeeding 2 year period.
(3) A report shall be submitted to the Minister within 3 months after it is prepared.
(4) The Minister shall cause a report to be laid before the Legislative Assembly within 15 sitting days after receiving it.
