PEST PLANTS AND ANIMALS ACT 2005 (NO. 21 OF 2005) - SECT 10

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person propagates a plant; and

        (b)     the plant is a prohibited pest plant; and

        (c)     the person is reckless about whether the plant is a prohibited pest plant.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.

    (2)     This section does not apply if the propagation is done—

        (a)     by an entity prescribed by regulation; or

        (b)     under a permit.
