ROAD TRANSPORT (GENERAL) ACT 1999 (NO. 77 OF 1999) - SECT 140

Offence to carry more than licensed number of passengers (MTA s 31A (2), (4))

The driver of a bus must not, without reasonable excuse, carry more passengers in the bus than the maximum number stated in the bus operator's licence.

Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
