Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) If an authorised person believes, on reasonable grounds, that a person has committed an infringement notice offence, the authorised person may serve a notice (an infringement notice ) on the person for the offence.
(2) This section does not prevent an infringement notice being served on a person under section 36 (Service of infringement notices on responsible persons for vehicles) for an infringement notice offence involving a vehicle.
