WORKERS COMPENSATION AMENDMENT ACT 2017 (NO. 49 OF 2017) - SECT 6

    (4)     An employer commits an offence if the employer—

        (a)     is required under subsection (1) to begin the payment of workers compensation to a worker; and

        (b)     fails to comply with the requirement.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.

    (5)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
