Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister may terminate the appointment of an appointed member of the Council by reason of misbehaviour or physical or mental incapacity.
(2) If an appointed member of the Council:
(a) becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his or her creditors or makes an assignment of his or her remuneration for their benefit; or
(b) is absent, except on leave granted by the Council, from 3 consecutive meetings of the Council otherwise than on business of the Council undertaken with the approval of the Council;
the Minister shall terminate the appointment of that member.
