Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies if CSC considers it appropriate that some or all of a benefit that would (apart from this section) be payable to or for a person (the beneficiary ) be paid instead to another person for the beneficiary's welfare (for example because the beneficiary is a child, is imprisoned or is under a disability).
(2) CSC may determine that all, or a specified part, of the benefit:
(a) is payable to a specified person other than the beneficiary for the beneficiary's welfare; and
(b) is not payable to the beneficiary.
(3) The determination has effect according to its terms, despite any other provision of this Act.
