Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) If an individual is entitled to be paid CCS or ACCS in substitution for an individual who has died, the Secretary must pay the amount of the entitlement, at such time as the Secretary considers appropriate and to the credit of a bank account nominated and maintained by the individual.
(2) The Secretary may direct that the whole or part of the amount is to be paid in a different way. If the Secretary does so, the amount must be paid in accordance with the direction.
(3) This section is subject to:
(a) Part 4 (overpayments and debt recovery); and
(b) Division 3 of Part 8B (payments to payment nominees).
