Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The appointment must specify the period for which the special administrator is appointed.
(2) The Registrar may extend the period for which a special administrator is appointed.
(3) An extension under subsection (2) must:
(a) be made in writing; and
(b) be made before the period to be extended ends.
(4) An appointment:
(a) has effect, subject to paragraph (b), until the end of the period of the appointment; and
(b) ceases to have effect if it is terminated under section 505 - 1 before the end of that period.
