Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor - General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, prescribing all matters that by this Act are required or permitted to be prescribed or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act and in particular providing for the payment of fees and expenses to assessors and to witnesses appearing before the Committee.
(2) Before making regulations for the purposes of:
(a) paragraph ( f) or (k) of the definition of work in subsection 5(1); and
(b) paragraph 5AA(1)(b) or (e);
the Governor - General shall take into consideration any relevant recommendation made to the Minister by the Committee.
