The Minister may appoint a person as a member only if the Minister is satisfied that the person has high level expertise in one or more of the following areas:
(a) international tourism;
(b) domestic tourism;
(c) corporate governance;
(d) financial management;
(e) marketing and promotion;
(f) business;
(g) investment strategies;
(h) infrastructure in Australia that supports tourism, including events;
(i) transport networks;
(j) economic analysis;
(k) current and emerging technologies;
(l) regional development;
(m) environmental management;
(n) Australian indigenous tourism or culture.
