ACOUSTIC LABORATORIES REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) 1991 No. 39 - REG 6.
New regulation 4A
6.1
After regulation 4, insert:
Charges for certain calibration services
"4A. (1) The charges in respect of the calibration of an item of
equipment at an acoustic laboratory are:
(a) for the preliminary service of ascertaining whether repairs are
necessary to make the equipment functional and how the equipment
functions—$45; or
(b) for the aural and visual examination of the equipment and the checking
of the accuracy of frequency and level control and of the calibration
of hearing level accuracy—$70; or
(c) for the service referred to in paragraph (b), together with the
calibration of bone conduction level—$100.
"(2) The fee for all services in respect of the calibration of an item of
equipment at an acoustic laboratory, other than the services prescribed in
subregulation (1), is $60 for each hour or part of an hour in which the
services are provided.".
