1991 No. 329 EXPLOSIVES REGULATIONS - REG 56
Rail vehicles not to carry other dangerous goods
56. (1) Commonwealth explosives must not be loaded onto a rail vehicle on
which there are dangerous goods other than explosives.
(2) Dangerous goods other than explosives must not be loaded onto a rail
vehicle on which there are Commonwealth explosives.
(3) Commonwealth explosives must not, without the approval of a Competent
Authority, be loaded onto a rail vehicle on which there are loaded goods (not
being dangerous goods) that may aggravate the effects of any accident
involving, or any initiation of, the explosives.
(4) In this regulation, "goods" does not include dunnage, packaging, padding,
insulation, security ropes, tarpaulins or other material carried on a vehicle
for the purpose of protecting or securing the vehicle's load.
