1991 No. 329 EXPLOSIVES REGULATIONS - REG 62

Explosives not to be carried on passenger trains
62. (1) Subject to subregulations (2) and (3), a rail vehicle on which
Commonwealth explosives are loaded must not form part of a passenger train.

(2) A guard's van on which Commonwealth explosives bearing the hazard
classification code 1.4S are loaded may form part of a passenger train if the
net explosive quantity of those explosives does not exceed 20 kilograms.

(3) A locomotive or a guard's van on which Commonwealth explosives commonly
used for railway signalling purposes and having the U.N. number 0092, 0192,
0193, 0492 or 0493 are loaded may form part of a passenger train.
