1991 No. 329 EXPLOSIVES REGULATIONS - REG 77

Deputies of members
77. (1) A member, other than the Senior Member, may nominate a person for
appointment as the deputy of the member but the appointment is not effective
until the member has given notice of the nomination to the Senior Member and
the Senior Member has, in writing, approved the appointment.

(2) The appointment of a person as the deputy of a member may be revoked by
the Senior Member by notice in writing given to the deputy.

(3) A deputy of a member may resign by writing signed by the deputy and
delivered to the Senior Member.

(4) A deputy of a member is entitled, in the absence of the member of whom he
or she is the deputy from a meeting of the Committee, to attend that meeting
and, when so attending, is taken to be a member.
