SUMMARY AUTHORITY RULES (SLI NO 196 OF 2008) - RULE 34
What summary authority can have regard to in making a finding as to whether or not a charge or alternative offence is proved
For the purpose of deciding, in accordance with paragraph
130 (1) (c), (e) or (f), or subsection 142 (2), of
the Act whether or not a charge or an alternative offence has been proved, the
summary authority may have regard only to:
(a) matters within the general service knowledge of the
summary authority; and
(b) the evidence produced at the trial.
