JUSTICES RULES 2003 - REG 32
Non-appearance of defendant
If a defendant who has not pleaded in writing fails to appear at the time and
place appointed in the summons or at an adjourned hearing, the justices may
issue
(a) a notice requiring the defendant's appearance at a time and place
specified in the notice; or
(b) a warrant for the defendant's arrest.
