ROAD RULES 2019 - REG 89

Right turn signs
(1)  If there is a right turn only sign at an intersection, a driver must turn right at the intersection.
Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.

Note For the meaning of right , see rule 351(2).

(2)  If there is a right lane must turn right sign at an intersection, a driver who is in the right marked lane when entering the intersection must turn right at the intersection.
Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.

Note Marked lane is defined in the dictionary.

(3)  In this rule –
turn right does not include make a U-turn.

Note U-turn is defined in the dictionary.
